Simple & Elegant
My intention was to sculpt an object that feels elegant, timeless and practical—something beautiful enough to stand alone as a piece of ceramic art while remaining perfectly functional for everyday use.
Each bowl is carefully hand-built without moulds, then refined through many hours of carving, sanding and glazing before its final kiln firing. The organic perforations are individually shaped by hand, making every bowl completely unique.
Function and beauty, in the same object.
MADE WITH TIME
From clay to bowl, it is made over several weeks. Shaped, pierced, dried, refined, and fired twice — each stage carried out by hand.
Every stage requires time. Nothing can be accelerated without compromising the result.
That’s the nature of handmade — and that’s where its value lives.
Design
Inspired by the haunting beauty of bleached coral reefs—where structure is shaped entirely by the ocean.
Just as a coral colony grows into a complex, breathable network to survive the tides, this handmade ceramic bowl features fluid, organic perforations.
